The Most Expensive Ferrari

Ferrari is one of the top names that comes to mind when we think about sports cars. Yes, it is given that this automobile is expensive. But, do you know what the most expensive Ferrari is?

The most expensive Ferrari ever sold was at $9,252,375, with the ten percent commission included in that price.

This sleek sports car is a 1962 Ferrari 330 TRI/LM Testa Rossa Spyder, chassis number 0808. This car was sold at an auction held by RM Auctions and Sotheby’s. The bidder placed the bid through an anonymous phone call. This car didn’t come at a huge price tag simply because of its looks. It has many unique qualities that also make it worth the money. Not only is it the only four-litre Testa Rossa ever built, it is also the very last Testa Rossa and last front-engine racing car that Ferrari would ever build. The car was also a huge part of the win at the 24 Heures de Mans when it was driven by Phil Hill and Olivier Gendebien. This would mark the third win for the famous racing pair and it would also be the last win at the competition by a front-engine car.
