Officially certified by the Guinness World Records, the Mouawad 1001 Nights Diamond Purse is considered the most expensive designer handbag in the world. It has a price tag of $3.8 million.
The purse is of heart-shaped and is handcrafted from 18 karat gold. The purse also has 4,517 diamonds—4,356 of which are colorless, 105 which are yellow and 56 of which are pink. It then has a total weight of 381.92 carats.
The Mouawad 1001 Nights Diamond Purse was made by ten artisans who worked on it for a total of 8,800 hours.
